In this episode of the Punta Cana Podcast, we have an incredible story of an American journey to expat life to share. Our guest is an American who's on an exciting journey to become an expat in the Dominican Republic. He was born in St. Lucia, moved to Barbados, and eventually came to the United States with his family when he was just a young boy. He went on to become an American citizen. With almost 20 years in law enforcement and a proud military service background in the United States Air Force, he's now taking on a new adventure.

Steve’s journey to the Dominican Republic started when he met his Dominican wife in the States. He fell in love with the Dominican Republic his first time on the island, and he knew right then that he wanted to retire here. Fast forward, and now he's investing in real estate in Punta Cana, going through the legal residency process, and even starting a business called "Off the Resort."

We’ll be following his journey over the next year as he transitions to full-time expat life. If you've ever thought about making a big move like this, you won't want to miss his story.
